We’ve added a Videos page, to showcase local businesses - It’s in development mode right now, but there is already a video up!

A new tab at the top of the page called “Videos” will take you to the clips. Watch a clip from a children’s anti-kidnapping class, held by Young Initiatives at the Westcreek Community Center!

Just a reminder, the next PANL meeting will be at Sips, at 1100 on 4 September. Bring your business cards and a smile!

Also, I finally submitted the group to meetup.com, so hopefully we’ll get more coverage and meet some new faces. The PANL/meetup page is here.

Be a hit at the next game!

What is a FanFan?

Only one of the new and exciting ways to promote your business! Can you imagine showing up at a ball game with a box of these?? You’d be lucky to get through the door before you get trampled!

The FanFan is constructed from sturdy, specially treated material, printed on both sides and provides three applications all in ONE premium - it’s a banner, a clapping device, and a fan. So not only does it display your brand, and keep your fans cool in hot weather, but it also makes a TON of noise to really get the fans pumped!

It measures 27″ x 11.75″, and is a full-bleed (edge to edge) print on BOTH sides! Talk about brand name coverage!

If you’re interested in using the FanFans to promote your business, give PROMOtivations a call!

We’re back from vacation! It was fun, and necessary, but now it’s time to get back to business!

Keep an eye out for new back to school and fall specials. Two hot markets right now are digital and green, so we’ll make sure to include plenty of new products in those areas.

The next PANL meeting is 4 September! 1100 am at Sips!

We have been BUSY!  We’ve finally moved, and almost everything is where it should be.

A BIG thank you goes out to Darryl and Stephanie, Paul, Justin, Greg, Jackie, Cathy and Wayne for all of your help.  Our new place is great!

Moving generates lots of trash, and lots of cardboard.  Please recycle!

NO!!!

Ever talked to a telemarketer that just wouldn’t take no for an answer?   Car or appliance salesman?

What if you made your prospects feel that same way?  Would they ever “turn” and do business with you?

I was talking with someone the other day about the success of our networking groups.  It came up that at some of the other groups in town, instead of “doing business,” the contacts and info collected from other attendees was used for high-pressure sales calls.  If an accountant calls, and I tell them I already have an accountant, I don’t need this person to pressure and banter until I’m red in the face.  A polite “thank you” or “keep us in mind” would be much better!  It also shows your respect for your prospect, and some professionalism on your part.

Learn when NO means NO.   There are times for pressured sales, but you’ll have to do your homework to make sure you pressure when you’re supposed to.  Turning off customers is NOT good for business!
