Geocaching?  What’s that?!? From Geocaching.com:

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.

There are at least 50 geocaches within ONE MILE of my home!  The kids love it – and part of our vacation travels always include finding out what caches are nearby, that we can trade items with!

Instead of signing all those logs, use a stamp!  iPrint offers self inking stamps of all sizes, perfect for carrying out to those hard to reach caching spots.  Check these out!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser for a very special and incredible San Antonio family.

Kenny Hudnall was in a car accident last August, that left him with severe spinal injuries.  He has very limited movement and feeling, and doctors weren’t sure what his future would be – they were unsure that he’d ever feel anything again.

But, Kenny has an outstanding family, and an amazing approach to life!  He’s an inspiration!  He even made an appearance at the fundraiser and thanked everyone for coming.  His brother, Kyle, drew a special picture that was part of the auction – featuring his brother Kenny as Superman.

We had an incredible workout this evening, with Kickin2BFit’s Paula Roberts!  Paula is bringing Turbo Jam, Turbo Kick, and several other Beachbody and Powder Blue Productions fitness programs to San Antonio.  Definitely check them out for a fitness information and a great workout!

I was recently given the opportunity to attend Sea World’s Summer Nights program.  San Antonio’s Social Media Club was invited to attend an early showing, and it was incredible!  Sea World has again improved on their program – we previewed the new Cool Vibrations “beach party” show, and Pirates Plunder, a new pirate-themed stunt show.  And of course, there was food!  Tables of food – it was incredible.  I would have taken more pictures to share with you, but my hands were busy at my plate!

The performers were obviously well rehearsed, and really enjoyed their work.  Sea World is lucky to have such amazing talent!  There was dancing, singing, water skiing and stunts, and the Pirates didn’t miss a beat, and had plenty of sword fights and stunts too!  The shows are exciting and funny, and a must-see for families.

I’m looking forward to attending Sea World this year!  Check out the pictures for a glimpse of the shows!

By 2013, annual global IP traffic will reach two-thirds of a zettabyte, according to a new forecast of IP traffic issued by Cisco today. What is a zettabyte? It is a trillion gigabytes, dummy. (I had to look that up too). And that number represents more than a fivefold increase in IP traffic from today.

What does this mean (to my non-nerd friends)? That the amount of traffic online will be 90% video! For mobile devices, 64%. That is a HUGE increase in video traffic! It also means that if you aren’t becoming familiar with sites like YouTube or Hulu, you are missing the boat! These sites can be very valuable to your business.  Definitely read this article!
